Salty's 06/02/2015 Trip Reports

Another work trip, no pictures. The usual stuff, waterbars and brushing, but I was really feeling the strain today. It took a long time heading up and when I got up to the outlook, I took a much needed break. Started up from there, but knew I was pushing myself too hard, and turned around, deciding another day would have to do.

As it turned out a few weeks later, I was considering relinquising trail maintenance. It was just getting to be too difficult to get out hiking, and knowing that I had to do trail maintenance on the next hike wasn't helping. As it turned out, a nice couple expressed interest in the trail, and I was thrilled someone wanted it (last thing the FS needs is another orphaned trail). So for now my trail maintenance duties are done. Perhaps in the future, but we'll see how my back holds up and how busy at home I am. :-)
